So nobody actually knows why Dave has always had an interest in vacuums but a vacuum cleaner was his favourite toy as a child. Family and friends started giving Dave old broken vacuums and he took them all apart and cleaned them and learned how to repair them. He acquired quite the collection. His parents always thought he would eventually grow out of this phase but instead Dave decided he could try make a living selling and repairing vacuum cleaners. At a young age he was repairing vacuums, by age 14 he started selling Electrolux vacuum cleaners door to door and continued to work for Electrolux for years across Canada. I 2005 the first Vacuum Mart was opened in small town Saskatchewan but unfortunately it was short lived. But Dave moved to the city and continued to work for other vacuum stores with the hope of having his own store again. After 10 years in Regina Dave has now taken the plunge and re-opened Vacuum Mart to offer customers affordable quality cleaning solutions.
